About Us

Prior to launching Chief Handyman, Tom Gingerich retired at the rank of Senior Chief after serving 26 years in the U.S. Navy. As a resident of Annapolis, MD for more than 40 years, he is dedicated to the area and appreciates its local businesses. Most recently, Tom was the Senior Project Manager for a $12 million, 70 thousand square foot historic building renovation -- a project spanning more than 9 years encompassing every aspect from drawings, environmental, demolition, construction and inspections. Additionally, Tom has built and/or remodeled several homes, and is familiar with all the standards and techniques used for construction of residential homes. Tom's friends and family are continually amazed at his ability to take most anything apart, figure out the problem, and put it back together in working order. Currently he holds both a Maryland Contractor's license (MHIC 128052) and Maryland Home Inspectors license (No. 30793).
